lots of fun

Weekend of April 2/3

Jenn and the kids climbed up for some pictures at the base of the column and with the giant lions.  Carter thought the lion might eat him.

It's always a good time for running and chasing!
After playing in the square we toured the National Gallery.  They have famous works by Rembrandt, Picasso, Van Gogh, Monet, Manet, Seurat, Michelangelo, Cezanne!  It was amazing.

Once the kids got sick of the museum we walked through St. James Park (which is the "front yard" of Buckingham Palace).  The park is amazing.  The kids played around a very unique tree and enjoyed the wildlife in the pond.

More running!

Our pretty little girl in her pretty little dress!!!

Weekend of April 9/10

The weather this weekend was AMAZING.  It was sunny over 20 C!

The kids enjoying one of their favourite hobbies, watching all the busy people and garbage trucks outside!

Averie's hair is finally long enough for her first pony tail!

Now its Averie's turn for her first football lesson in Hyde Park!

The coaches were really good with her.  This guy played keep away and pass with Averie for a long time.  She did great!

Averie had a great time.  We were all so proud of her.  Even big brother!

After both kids were done their football class we rented a paddle boat and went for a cruise on the Serpentine in Hyde Park.

Averie's legs were a bit short to help me with the "paddling".

The kids enjoyed the warm weather; shorts and dresses!

After the paddle boat ride we went to the Princess Diana Memorial Gardens for some ice cream and play time.

Averie was thrilled to find a baabaa to sit on.

After nap time we rounded out the day with dinner and wine on the balcony (our new 'backyard').
