birthday girl!

Today was Averie's 2nd birthday! We started the day bright and early at 5:55 am! How do they know to get up that early on their birthdays?! Since we were up, we thought we'd start in on a few of the presents and cards...

After some pancakes for breakfast we were off! We spent the day at Carter's new preschool (he doesn't actually start till next week) where they had a mini farm visiting. The kids got to pet a pony, feed 2 week old sheep, and check out the other animals: chickens, a turkey, rabbits and goats! After that it was off for lunch and a treat at Cafe Nero!
